GENESEE VOLLEY TENNIS & CROQUET CLUB

The Hartford House
Geneseo, N.Y.

About the club

The Genesee Volley Tennis & Croquet Club is the premiere tennis and croquet club in Livingston County, New York. The club was founded in 2008 on the scenic Hartford House Estate in the Village of Geneseo.

The club has one Har-Tru clay tennis court open to members from April through October. Connoisseurs of tennis know that Har-Tru is the best surface for long-lasting, fun rallies and is the easiest on the body too!

The club also has a full-size 75' X 200' croquet court and plays a unique variety of golf croquet (pronounced croakie) under "OBP rules." Croquet is played year-round as long as the court is not covered in snow!

The club sets up league matches in both tennis and croquet every week day. There are also annual club championships in both sports.

Membership is open to players at all levels of both tennis and croquet. Guest can try out either (or both) sports three times for free before deciding whether to join.

Sorry, the Club does not have a resident tennis pro or offer lessons for beginners or children. If you have any skills at all, the best way to improve is to play and members are always happy to offer informal tips.

Please call 585-233-5338 to find out how you can join the fun or email: geneseevolleytennis@gmail.com
